Founded in 1992, Lak Line began its activity in a shed in Savignone ( GE ), as manufacturer of tarpaulins for OT containers and after a few years, thanks to the company’s growth, moved to its current location in Busalla. 

At the beginning of the 2000s, the company expanded its horizons by launching into the European market, while relocating a part of production to Eastern Europe and conquered 70% of the market, thanks to the increasingly careful research of materials and the attention paid to each customer . 

In 2008, due to the ever-increasing demand for tarpaulins for OT CNTR, the company decided to refocus its production in Italy and invest in technology, by building fully automatic machines that have been placed new operational sites near Brescia.  

In 2010, Lak line entered a new market that attracted a lot of interest in European Shipping: thermal insulation for Containers intended for the transport of goods sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity, meeting the needs of leading companies in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. 

In 2022, Pierluigi Meriggi, already a partner and CEO since 1998, acquired the majority of shares and began a growth journey shared with his son Gianluca, who has been with the company since 2016.

Today, Lak Line is a solid and expanding company, led by the Meriggi family, with a skilled and dynamic team committed to offering innovative solutions and strengthening its presence in international markets.
